We rescue, heal and rehome Phuket’s abandoned dogs, while offering a permanent sanctuary for those who cannot be rehomed beneath the Bodhi tree at Pakhlok Temple. Every dog that comes into our care receives food, medical treatment, rehabilitation and unconditional love in a safe, no-kill environment.

Compassion, rooted like the Bodhi Tree.
The Bodhi Dog Rescue & Sanctuary is a non-profit based at Pakhlok Buddhist Temple in Phuket, Thailand. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned and mistreated dogs and we never give up on the ones still waiting. Run entirely by donations and a team of devoted volunteers, we work alongside local authorities and the community to bring dogs in from dire situations, give them the veterinary care and time they need, and walk every adopter through the journey home.
